We are preparing for a new dawn, a new beginning. Know that it is safe for you to be powerful and take charge of your life this year, and that you truly can make a positive difference to yourself and others around you, and far, far beyond that. When in doubt or needing that extra push, you can call upon Archangel Michael to help you face any fears and gather the courage to 'go beyond', for there is a new horizon before you this 2014. You are guided to read books or any information online that might help you. Study might be on your path, whether an official course of some kind, or self study. See what attracts you and falls on your path. There is magical energy to gleam a moment of inspiration and insight in a word, sentence or page. This might also be something you hear. I am feeling that there has been so much struggling energy and we have been doing much releasing, or need to as we are confronted with a bombardment of fears, doubt, negative thoughts, and over-busy-ness in this lead up to Christmas. The fast-paced accelerating of our energies in the world of chaos makes us lose your centre, our 'selves'. And in this new year that is exactly where you need to be (in relaxed 'self' mode) and I am feeling that some of you have been subconsciously resisting or pushing away this, as its about confronting your 'selves'. Time to look at YOU, no matter how hard this might be for some of you. Make sure that when the time is right for you, you reflect on what you do not want anymore. And then, what you want to replace all those non -serving people, situations, things and feelings with. Like filling up a dry well with water so that you can sip and be provided for at any time you drop and pull the rope. |

2014 CHINESE ASTROLOGY: "YEAR OF THE HORSE"
The new year for the chinese is at the tail-end of January, so we are now stepping into the energies of the related animal sign of the chinese zodiac calendar.
This year it is the horse, with the element of wood (and its colour association of green). Wood is an element that is essential for the creation of fire, and fire relates to passion and action. So if the animal that you are is a fire element, it will be a particularly good year for you!
The horse is a kind, gentle yet wild, energetic, masculine animal with the honourable attributes of courage, heroism, strength, power, assertiveness and commitment. It is intelligent and able. It is related to class, leadership, charm and nobility. It also represents speed, solid determination and endurance. The horse aspires to be free, independent and find vitality and true happiness that is aligned with the soul and its vibrant spirit.
2014 is a year to make your mark and make a difference as an individual. It is a good year successful business ventures, career developments, travel, movement and adventure. This could be a lucky year of things happening fast for you, a kind of quickening of energy where things feel like they are speeding along. You might have some speedy victories, changes and sudden experiences or opportunities popping up, including surprising adventures and journeys.
Act fast as energy is very high indeed. The idea is to go with the flow and gallop ahead with a wilful attitude.

2014 NUMEROLOGY
A '7' YEAR!! In case you don't know how to work out the numerology of each year, simply add up the individual numbers, so for 2014: 2+0+1+4=7. 2013 was a '6' year, which indicated a good time for unity, moving forward, building the blocks, taking action and staying strongly grounded in your intentions. I did mention that things would flow more smoothly if you stay in the awareness mindset and that advice also flows well into 2014. We all associate the number 7 as a well-regarded heavenly number, and vibrationally 7 gives us the energy of sacred mysticism, spiritual exploration, celestial ponderings and magic. A '7' year is chiefly about introspection, reflection and seclusion. It brings us the gift of a seemingly endless inner journey into oneself. Going inwards keeps us more aligned and less preoccupied with the material, physical, 'outside' world around us. It brings awareness and enlightenment. 2014 as a 7 year also sees us growing and learning. It is about self-analysis and examination with the mind as well as truth-seeking, study, learning, writing, reading, discovering and researching. Just watch that you do not get too caught up in your own head with unnecessary energy and matters. What are we if we do not build ourselves up from the inside, out? This year, many will begin to not define themselves so much by the outside material world, but rather deepen and broaden their sense of 'self' internally - so there is a pronounced and profound (re) discovery of one's 'real' authentic self. This is why we benefit from so much alone time, where we increase our intuition and awaken more. This is a year of greater privacy, quietness and wisdom. You will find yourself seeking greater peace and balance within oneself and in relation to your surrounding world. By silencing the mind, you will bring about a greater feeling of receptivity, equilibrium and connection. It is as if the universe is pulling you to go back to your 'self' and away from other distractions. They are whispering in the cosmic wind to (re) connect with your higher self, seek and (re)discover your real, eternal, divine, true, authentic 'self.' So during this process, you might find yourself questioning and redefining your 'identity.' This is your spirit and soul speaking and wanting to step forth so that you can be more free, true and consequently at greater peace. The irony about 2014, is that the 'horse' aspect (which is the chinese astrology influence that I shall speak about next month), is about movement and speed, yet the numerological '7 ' aspect asks us to slow down and not move too fast. Then we have the added significance of 7 in tarot as the 'Chariot' archetype (see picture below), which signifies movement in terms of taking control of ones life and the situation around you. This added energy so vibrantly tells us to stick to ones goals and stay more oriented towards these goals and the direction in which you are going. the wheels are turning as you hold your sword of truth with bravery and assertion; and become more solid, grounded and steadfast. The sun (creation, life force, energy) directs and sustains you as focus your willpower on the road ahead. Slow and steady wins the race. This is the long-haul commitment. The chariot also brings about the notion of travel, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual. Inner and outer. The journey. Waiting, planning (especially longer-term goals) and developments towards the future are key words. for 2014. Being patient also allows opportunities to come to you rather than you barging forth like a Trojan horse. You might get frustrated when things seem dragged out or dragged down, however remember that you are gaining wisdom, experience and much needed planning and analysis before you make your bigger moves in future years. Knowing what the energetic vibrations of 2014 are bringing to you through the gateway of numbers allows you to be prepared in advance. Knowing that this year is going to allow you to partake in a sacred inwards journey means that you can give yourself permission to rest and be quiet, to seek answers and guidance in your own time. You might find yourself getting emotional, aloof, paranoid, confused, lonely or depressed, and when you really think about it this is because you are learning to go deeper to what you truly want and how you would like your life and relationships to change, and this includes your relationship with and understanding of the world. There is an inner space inside you ready and waiting for you to explore, and if you reflect and look deep and long enough, you will find the magic of the not quite yet fulfilled potentials breaming with life and energy for future creations. This is about inner satisfaction and fulfilment. Will you take this inwards journey, or get caught up or side-tracked in the outer chaos, mayhem, drama or distractions? This is about you staying on course and (re)discovering the 'you' outside of the 'status quo'. You will also have many experiences of others going through a lot of stuff, and they seem to be holding up a mirror to you loudly and boldly. It seems like you cannot escape it which is why you need to look deeply into that mirror and see what it is reflecting. In this way, you will be experiencing realities upon realities. The mise en abyme effect. Which realities do you choose? 2014 will be your time to reflect upon that. Predictions: Outside / world energies have us questioning many things. You will notice more scandals, dark secrets, revelations, exposures and conspiracies. There will be more discordant weather, violence, celebrity outbursts, and new scientific or publically revealed / leaked evidence emerging about previously hidden or 'unknown' phenomenon, secrets or situations such as political, monetary and religious dogma, leaders and institutions, otherworldly beings/planets, UFO's, space / time travel, quantum physics, psychic ability, etc structure collapses... I'm also feeling alternative media really getting through to the masses as more and more people awaken and reposition themselves and their views in the world, as it is time to unveil the hidden secrets, revelations and fears you hold within yourself too. So there will be a great change in the way we see things, and a reshaping of our inner and outer paradigm. A shift brought about by reflection and exposure. |
THE 7th CHAKRA & ITS RELATION TO 2014
Number 7 relates to the crown chakra, which is the 7th (and highest) energy centre of the human body. The colour associated with the 7th chakra is violet, which is the highest colour on our spectrum. Most of us naturally recoginse the number 7 as being a very high number, and this year, we are umpted by the highest energy centre of all. Beautifully analogised with the sacred flower, the 7th chakra is also called the 'Thousand Petal Lotus.' It is like a receptical of higher spiritual awareness and connected to the Divine oneness, the Source that connects us all. Your own personal infinite connection with God, peace, wisdom. The 7th chakra, (the Sahasrara), acts as a kind of bridge between our lower selves and higher consciousness. I had an intuitive feeling that it was like a 'gateway', so I did a little research and found out that when the chakra is open, clear and in its full power, it can act as a kind of 'star-gate' or vortex, connecting us to the higher dimensions. In 2014 you will be increasing your self knowledge and spiritual awareness, there will be a marked growing union with your higher self. You will begin to communicate with more empathy and compassion as you are coming from a place of higher perception. 2014 sees you raising your consciousness, sense of unity/oneness, and boosting your multidimensional awareness. Your intuition will help you see the right road ahead for yourself. This crown actually connects with our physical brain and our nervous system, but it is also known the 'true' higher brain that connects with higher spiritual powers and dimensions. It thus bridges and aligns us with the greater cosmic consciousness by connecting the lower realms of mother earth with the higher realms of God-father-sky. This magical blending of physical matter with spirit is consciousness manifest into physical form through the birth of the human child. If you have negative associations with your own father, this can be linked with a feeling of disconnection with, or isolation from, God (or fear of spirituality or religion) , and this feeling can be enhanced in 2014. Other negative implications for you in 2014 could be a sense of disconnection with reality, worry, anxiety, miscommunication. Astrological Factors The astrological signs that rule the 7th chakra are Pisces and Capricorn. In this regard, I see Pisces as offering us its gifts of dedication, devotion, imagination, intuitive foresight and integration of oneness; and Capricorn as providing us with the inwards focus, grit, concentration, determination, perception and perseverance needed to achieve goals in 2014. 7th Earth Chakra It is interesting to note that the earth too as a conscious living being (the 'Great Mother'), is an entity unto its own composing of energy voterxes and a subtle chakra system that are connected to the universe through a divine matrix. Each energising chakra is represented by a particular place in each continent in the world. Each of us have our own creative evolutionary will, as too has the earth. I would love to speak more of this in future newsletters but for now lets focus on the 7th earth chakra, which is delightfully a sacred mountain in the holy land of Tibet in the Himalayas, named Mt Kailas. We can examine earth's evolution through its chakra system and relation to sacred number. Oh I am getting goose bumps... We each have a divine spiritual destiny and this year we are not only guided, but also activated through the sheer energy force of the Divine secret laws of nature, to access our true Divine will. This is about finding and activating our life purpose and summoning our will to act on our dreams. This is about finding your role and place on earth, and being connected as much to earth as to the heavens / God / lifeforce energy and the inspiration in the etheric mix. You will have a creative drive and will want to play your part in raising the vibration of the collective consciousness. Crystals & The 7th Chakra There are many crystals that help you connect with your 7th chakra and that of the earth. Some examples are amethyst, ametrine, quartz, atlantisite, azurite, celestite, and zircon. You can use a crystal that represents the crown chakra, cleanse it and meditate on your chakra and that of the earth. It is an energetic connection and healing for both yourself and Mother Earth (Gaia). Related Planets & Tarot Association Let's look at further interconnected correspondences of the 7th earth chakra - the Planets Mercury and Uranus. Mercury represents communication and personal expression, how you deal with others around you. This will be your personal challenge this year!! Uranus signifies sudden change and being able to deal with endings and new beginnings, taking heed of intuitive guidance, developing control of situations that arise, standing back from the influence and energy of other people and harnessing your independence / individuality. The Magician Since the 7th chakra is so strongly emblematic of 'will', it is has a correspondence with the tarot card 'The Magician'. What I get from this is that 2014 is a year for us to implement our intelligence and 'will' through creation, action, skill and magic. The Hebrew letter 'beth' (meaning Divine House) is connected with this card, so the Magician resides in the house of spirit with the potential power of his alchemical tools. Applying this to our lives, we are to act as our own director of energy by channelling it in a very focused, powerful way to the object / desire of our affection. This is also about our wisdom and craft, our ability to control the hidden powers of our mind. If you ride along this powerful wave, you will learn to heighten, fine-tune and gain control of your mind, while dually choosing to ignore and 'ride over' any lower energy thoughts and obstacles. Seven Rays of Light Now, if you would like to take an even more intensive look at the 7th chakra, we can examine its significance in terms of the seven 'rays of light' which denote 7 aspects of our human temperament. The 7th chakra relates to the 1st ray, which is about the 'will' as well as power, courage and leadership. It is connected with your will power, concentration and focus, and when put in positive use, helps you attain of your 'ultimate reality'. When in the negative shadows, it can manifest a weakened or soiled will of greed, selfishness, tyranny, negative control, confusion, depression, fear of succeeding, not feeling inspired or 'tapped in', or just plain feeling 'displaced' like you do not know or feel your 'place' in the world. This is a form of dis-association where the ego revels in, and you may over-intellectualise or become overly reliant on outside spiritual resources. There is no flow or cognizant direction. So there is much guidance and food for thought here for 2014. Hopefully you will find a moment and take the time to put your own ideas down on paper and formulate a pro-active plan for yourself. |
