Do you sometimes have anxiety and wonder where it all comes from? Anxiety is very connected to our thoughts. It’s like being trapped in a whirlwind where one thought leads to another, and before you know it, your mind is spiraling out of control.
Anxiety is rampant these days, and much of it seems to be unexplained. But I really do feel there’s a spiritual and energetic component to everything, and our mind plays a key role too. When you get into the practice of actually sitting down and setting the intention to clear your mind, it can help ease anxiety, worry, and that buildup of stressed thoughts.

The Role of Sensitivity and Energetic Awareness
Sometimes, anxious thoughts seemingly come out of nowhere. For those of us who are sensitive, we may be picking up on the thought vibes, energy, and emotions of others. This can also induce or even escalate anxiety. It doesn’t just happen on an individual level but also on a collective level. That’s why it’s so important to be aware and take a step back to observe what’s going on within you and around you.
Clearing Your Mind to Ease Anxiety

One way to address this is to tune into yourself, get into your body awareness, and go through a process of clearing your mind. Releasing disconnected, discombobulated, unresolved thoughts and worries is key. If you keep these stored within your mind and body, it’s like welcoming more in—and it stockpiles from there.
When anxiety reaches a chronic level, it can feel overwhelming and highly uncomfortable. You don’t want to get caught in those loops of worst-case scenarios or endless spiraling thoughts that only add to your anxious feelings.
Clearing your mind helps disrupt that cycle. It’s like hitting the pause button, creating space in your thoughts, and allowing your mind and body to feel freer and at ease.

You can approach worries and stresses with logic, higher wisdom, clarity, and focus, rather than fear. Start by sitting down and taking a moment for yourself. Feel yourself de-stressing. If it’s helpful, do some unloading through journaling or write down the anxious thoughts that come up.
