The Oracle of AuguryAugury is the ancient art of reading signs, symbols, synchronicities and natural phenomena as divine messages or guidance. It has been practiced for millennia in cultures from Ancient Rome to Indigenous and shamanic traditions such as Tibetans and Native Americans, it’s still alive today, appearing in everyday occurrences as subtle omens, warnings, or blessings.
Augury can serve as a sign from God, providing oracular knowledge. It is a form of divination, where you can receive, read and interpret occurrences in nature and life, as well as in supernatural phenomenon. It is a way that the Spirit and the universe interacts with us, to give hints, guidance and direction. It is through the mysterious workings of serendipitous synchronicity. They can be an indication of what is to come or a sign you have been asking guidance for, or that relates to a thought or prayer. They can be positive such as foretelling good news or blessings, or negative such as omens or warnings portending danger. |

Animals as SignsAugury often reveals itself through the behavior and movements of animals and nature. These encounters are symbolic conversations between Spirit and the soul.
A bird flying into your home may mirror a longing for freedom or a message trying to enter your awareness. A deer pausing on your path might ask for gentleness and heart-led caution. A spider guarding your letterbox may remind you to weave your intentions carefully, connecting your words with purpose and creation. If you see a butterfly, it could present freedom, metamorphosis, beauty, or rebirth. A bird sings of freedom, peace, presence, and connection to God and the upper realms. Sometimes it can be like a suspended moment of time, such as when it appears on your path, staring right at you. Many messages have come to me through divinely orchestrated animal experiences, such as when a kangaroo jumped in front of my car. It literally was a sign it was time for me to 'jump forward.' Similarly, sudden shifts in nature: the arrival of a storm, the hush before thunder, or a powerful gust of wind, may signal inner or collective changes taking form.
When you tune into nature and life around you, life becomes a living metaphor. You become more 'aware', and take notice of signs and happenings. Life comes alive and 'opens up' and becomes magical, you see it with new eyes as an endless source of meaning, wisdom, portency and inspiration.
You sense things with your innate extra sensory perception. While at times it might stop you in your tracks, at other times it is subtle and fleeting. God is speaking to you through both your internal system and external world reality. When we listen, nature reveals profound lessons through its elements. |

- Thunder and earthquakes reflect life’s pressures and eruptions and the release of what has long been suppressed.

- An earthquake can be a shake up before an energy shift, it literally forms a crack in your ground(ing).

They can sometimes come in a group over a period of time, as in more than one time. They are especially getting your attention if they 3 times.

What Should You Do When You See a Sign?

When a special moment of augury happens to you, try to really be in the moment, and expand it if you can. Hold a sense of consciousness without pressure or force. I challenge you to think about the possible meaning of things happening around you. It truly can be a symbol of something inside of you needing to be expressed, healed or unleashed, or something trying to get your attention.
Record the time / date and a description of the event, and come back to it later. These and other details might have some significance too. Lean into your intuition, to see what meaning or message you may find, and record that too. Don't worry how crazy you may feel or sound. Just trust and write it down. Later, look up the spiritual meaning and see what matches and resonates and what further info you can find. Give it time, meaning doesn't always come straight away, sometimes it comes later, or not at all. |

When one enters your personal space, it can signify that Spirit is bringing a message directly to you, something that needs your attention or liberation.
Ask yourself: Are you feeling trapped or stifled in some area of your life? Is there an idea, emotion, or dream that longs to take flight? Does some part of you wish to be free and unburdened? Is there a loved one in Spirit wanting to communicate? Do you need to open a “window” of opportunity to allow energy to move again? Sometimes, it’s a simple energetic reminder to clear the air, to open up your heart, release worry, and allow divine communication to enter. A bird’s sudden appearance can also represent a departed loved one or angelic messenger visiting to reassure or guide you. |
You Notice Certain Times or NumbersWhen specific numbers catch your attention repeatedly, like 11:11, 222, or 444, it’s a form of numerological augury. Often it is a time on a clock, but you could also see it in other ways, such as on signs, number plates, on products, images, on TV, etc.
The universe uses frequency and pattern to communicate alignment, confirmation, or correction. These repeating sequences are sometimes known as “angel numbers,” each with its vibration and meaning. For example: |

A Wild Storm AppearsStorms are powerful symbols of energetic release, cleansing, and transformation. They often precede inner or outer breakthroughs. Wind represents movement and change. Rain symbolizes emotional healing and purification. Thunder and lightning embody awakening and revelation.
When a storm arrives, notice how it makes you feel. Also have a feel for the general atmosphere (vibe) of the storm and surrounding environment. The way nature interacts. Open all your senses, what do you see, hear, smell? Is it ominous, electric, or oddly invigorating or cleansing? |
