Spiritual tools are often spoken about as if they hold power on their own: as if the object itself can protect you, guide you, or shift your energy. In reality, the object is only one part of the equation. The true power comes from energy, intention, and your connection with the divine.

Spiritual Tools & What They Actually Do

When it comes to objects where they say it has a special meaning, maybe a crystal, a dream catcher, oracle cards, or whatever, know that it is not the object per se that can do "all this magic." A spiritual tool doesn’t generate power on its own, it responds to energy. The object is simply a carrier of frequency, meaning, or intention.
What actually creates the shift is your connection, your awareness, and the energy you bring into the interaction. Once you understand this, spiritual tools stop being “magical objects” and become what they truly are: supportive companions that work with your field, not for you. |
Everything Is Energy & Some Objects Hold More
Just to be accurate here, everything is energy. Every object has a frequency, and some objects, like crystals, simply hold more energy than others. This simply means they carry a clearer, more concentrated vibration that your system can interact with.
Crystals in particular carry a higher, more defined frequency, each with its own feel, its own quality, its own purpose, just like herbs and flowers do, for example. Intention, which I’ll talk about in a moment, is what connects you to that energy.

Intention: Yours, The Creator’s, and How Objects Respond
It is about the intention either of the creator of the item, if that is the case, or an object like a dreamcatcher (such as the one I hold up in the video above, with a dangling crystal on it, very pretty, probably made in a factory in China).
It’s about my intention that I imbue upon it, or just my energy and being in that frequency, and allowing the frequency, for example, of a rose quartz crystal to do its thing and to harmonize and to allow me to receive what I need to receive. Intention is the bridge between you and the object’s frequency, it’s what activates the energy and gives the tool its purpose. |

How Energy Aligns When You Engage With It
But when I pay attention to it, when I feel the energy of it or just sort of look at it, admire its aesthetic beauty, or when I just am conscious of it being in my presence, that’s where the true alignment and the energy does its thing. You’re simply meeting the object’s frequency with your own awareness, which is what allows the alignment to happen.

Oracle cards are also manufactured, made in a factory. However, it is the creator’s intention and/or my intention of what the cards might mean and the energy that they hold.
And it is my intention to use the cards for the good, to give clear guidance from the highest of Source, so that your soul resonates with whatever feels right and true for you. No trickery, no deceit, no fakeness. No, just trying to make meaning out of a random object.

Messages from the Universe & Divine Guidance
Spiritual tools are just one way energy communicates with you, but they’re not the only way. When you are connected to the universe, which is part of the energy of all that is living and breathing, like the trees, the flowers, the way the clouds move in the sky, and how a bird taps at your window and you admire a ladybug on a leaf on a sunny day (read about spirit animals here), messages come in all sorts of ways.
And it is our way of connecting with the Divine, of God speaking to us and showing us that we’re not alone.
We have angels, guides, spiritual support. And these are just little tools to help us along our divine path. Nothing to be scared of, just spiritual helpers to enhance our human journey as souls on Earth.

When you understand the true nature of spiritual tools, you stop relying on the object and start relying on your connection, which is where the real guidance comes from.
