How to Spiritually Approach the End of Year

When you are consciously aware of the seasons of change, you become more enlightened about yourself and transition more deeply and swiftly. The more connected you are with your inner truths about all you have gone through and who you truly are beneath it all, the more aligned you are with your soul and Spirit, and what you truly came here to be, do and experience.
Before you mindlessly dive into the new year head first, or just bob around like an aimless cork, lets direct you spiritually back to you and place you in touch with the natural cycles and rhythms of life, particularly at this pivotal time of year, where you transition from one year’s distinct energy, into the next.

How can we more mindfully, consciously, spiritually approach the conclusion of the year and time of transition?
There are so many ways we can utilise and explore this time to deepen our own inner understanding and broaden our connection.

1. Reflect on Your Journey:
Take a deep dive into the events, challenges, and joys of the past year. Reflect on the lessons learned, personal growth, and all you have been through. Acknowledge both the highs and the lows, as each contributes to your spiritual evolution. Think about the challenges faced and how each obstacle became an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.
2. Enter Sacred Reflection Mode

Enter a state of spiritual reverie and sacredness. Amongst all the chaos, seal yourself in an energy of inner sanctuary. When you are in this meditative state, you open up a portal to the sacred dimensions within and around yourself.
You can also enact a simple sacred act or ritual, such as a crystal bath or lighting a candle. Rituals provide structure and meaning, helping you transition into the new year with greater spiritual connection and intention. And it can be very pure, simple and natural. |

3. Connect with Nature:
Nature is the best way to get in touch w yourself, the energy of earth and spirit, and the cosmic energy which is ever changing, it allows you to refresh and realign, coming back to you.
Spend time in nature to connect with the rhythms of the earth. And the sense of time, beyond out understanding of it.
Whether it's a solitary walk in the woods or a moment of meditation in a natural setting, sitting down and grounding yourself anywhere in nature, can bring a sense of balance and harmony as the year prepares to conclude.

4. Release and Let Go:
Just as the falling leaves signal nature's very natural shedding from one season to the next, we are constantly shedding and cycling too.
Take the time to reflect on what is falling away from you, or what you need to more consciously let go of. What is hanging onto your branches and weighing you down?
Examine it all, from old habits, negative thought patterns, or anything that no longer serves your own personal well-being. You will know what is right and what is wrong for you.
Acknowledge all the things, cleanse it all away and get ready to move on. Doing so will not only be healing, but will also open up a space to allow in the new.
And don’t stress too much about getting it all done and perfect, just set your intention, move in that direction, take the action steps and the rest will follow.

It can be hard to feel that true sense of gratitude at times, especially when life feels like it's given you a difficult hand time and time again, but try to find a place in your heart be thankful for these experiences. Perhaps now, as the year draws to a close, you can start to place some distance to the energy and emotions, and see the other side.
Acknowledge the blessings, experiences, and relationships that have enriched your life, no matter how big or small. As well as the more difficult feelings and scenarios.
So much wisdom can be gained from adversity and all the lessons learned. And it truly can be such a powerful catalyst for growth.
Having a sense of gratefulness connects you with the great Spirit of life. It allows you to enter a more positive mindset and have a more blessed, detached outlook in life.

6. Celebrate Your Achievements:
Don’t forget to acknowledge and celebrate your personal achievements and milestones in all areas of your life. You can think left field on this one – an achievement could truly be finally letting go of someone or something, standing up for yourself or bring brave enough to say no. Look at how much you have overcome challenges, or even deepened your spiritual and self-awareness. Recognize how far you have come on all other levels, especially those beyond the physical and material realms.
You might be surprised at what small and big wins you actually had! When I did this, I really surprised myself, for example in 2023, which I, like many others otherwise felt like a year of weirdness, nothingness and stagnation that simple dragged on, and a lot of people felt like they just didn’t get anywhere.
But in fact it was a universal 7 year in numerology, a time of deep inner reflection and spirituality.
In this year, I started my podcast, spoke at the inner revolution summit and was interviewed by Lee Carroll, the incredible channeler of Kryon!
Painful as it was, I also did a lot of inner work and healing. What more could a spiritual old soul want?
So by taking a deeper, inner, introspective look, see how seeming setbacks are actually stepping stones that have propelled you forward on your sacred path. And allowed you to come back into the truth of you.
You might be surprised at what small and big wins you actually had!
