The Law of Vibration
“Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.” – The Kybalion

Hermes knew that everything is in a constant state of movement, and this was eons before 19th century scientists both analyzed and confirmed it by looking through telescopes.
He is known to have said:
"He who knows the Law of Vibrations knows all."
~ Hermes Trismegistus

“If each atom of an object is vibrating, the whole object can said to be vibrating, even if we don’t see it in a state of movement.” ~ Girdhar Joshi

Atoms vibrate. Thus everything in the universe vibrates and has its own unique frequency. We just don’t see it with our human eye. And this is not only true of matter. It is also sound, thoughts and emotions that vibrate. Everything has its own vibrational frequency. Everything also moves in a circular motion – this includes our thoughts, will, emotions and even desires in the ethers.

Know that whatever signals and vibrations you and others are sending out to the world, affects everything else! It is all connected.
There is a push and pull effect happening constantly.
This would explain a lot!

“He who understands the principle of vibration
has grasped the sceptre of power.” ~ Hermes

As this Hermetic axiom implies, understanding the law of vibration can help empower you. This is because it is used by those who know how. You can for example change the energy of an object by intention and directing your will for the vibrations to change.
In my mind, this can help explain how some objects would feel very negative on one end of the scale, or very positive on the other end of the scale. This idea of scaling and opposites is a part of the Law of Polarity.
