Let me first say that there is no specific formula to praying. I believe that we can each pray in our own special way, and that thoughts are prayer. So any thought you are sending out to God or the Universe is indeed a prayer. Read more about the power of prayer and how it works here.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
