What is the Universal Year in Numerology?
In Numerology, the Universal Year number, otherwise known as the World Year number, is a number derived from the numbers of a year date.
It describes the general energy of the year, as a kind of 'back drop energy,' much like how astrology can affect us behind the scenes in the background of our lives.
How is the Universal Year Number Calculated?
To get the Universal Year number of any given year, you simply add each digit of the number the calendar year, and in the case of double digits break it down to a single number by adding each digit again, or in the case of the double digit numbers 11,22 or 33, you leave the numbers as so because they are considered Master Numbers, as well as break them down to a single digit.
Look at these examples:
To work out the Universal Year Number of 2019 for example, you would add:
2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12 which you then break down to a single digit: 1 + 2 = 3
So the Universal Year for 2019 is 12/3.
In 2018, the Universal Year can be written as 11/2 as 11 is a Master Number:
2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 11/2
